The Carousel began with my great admiration of a portrait painted by the great Spanish painter, Goya. The woman’s face became the starting point. She appears lost in the memories connected to each of the portraits on the carousel. The small doll on the locked memory chest wears a rabbit hat that echoes the woman’s . The March Hare outside of her view seems to go unnoticed, but brings forth his own mysterious connection.
